The Unfathomable World of Björk - Wood and Paper Cutouts, April 2024

Björk audaciously defies societal expectations with her eclectic music. To illustrate her individuality, I combined 3D printing and mixed media collage in the fourth piece of my Unfathomable World of Björk series. "Serpents in the Midst" illustrates the dark side of fame and the lack of privacy that famous figures experience.

I drew black and white layers in Procreate, converted them into SVG layers in Adobe Illustrator, and imported them one by one into the GlowForge software. The laser cutting machine cut my design first into paper sheets as a trial run, then into wooden sheets.
