The Unfathomable World of Björk - Vinyl, February 2023

Björk audaciously defies societal expectations with her eclectic music. To illustrate her individuality, I combined 3D printing and mixed media collage in the first piece of my Unfathomable World of Björk series. 

I made black-and-white line drawings in Procreate of several photos of Björk and brought them into the 3D modeling interface ZBrush, where I created an object out of every drawing. Then, I printed each object in resin, making sure to resize it in proportion to the dimensions of a real vinyl record. After I glued everything onto Björk's album Post, I wanted to incorporate the album cover into my background design. I manipulated the cover art in Procreate.
