My art tutor gave me the challenge to replicate the Del Sarto masterpiece (see below) using red chalk. I meticulously redrew the ridges in Caesar's side profile and shaded in the shadows. Sketching the hair proved difficult because I attempted to give it the windswept look as in the original without making too many strokes with the chalk.
