Scenes from "Interstellar," May 2023

While researching how the unknown influences the story of "Interstellar," I realized that the force of love drove the main character, Cooper (shown above), to overcome his fear of the unknown to be reunited with his daughter and save her life. To document my takeaway, I drew two pivotal scenes from this cinematic masterpiece. 

In the top image, Cooper's ship is about to travel past the event horizon of a black hole, after which there is no possibility of return. Love makes Cooper venture fearlessly into the unknown. Which leads him to a five-dimensional tesseract, pictured in the bottom half of the image, where Cooper does find a way to communicate with Murph across space and time.
